After the show, we had an unexpected surprise. lol Apparently, there was a birthday party going on.. and the family surprised the birthday boy with two 'dancers.' Um... well it got really bad and some of our fans had to run out. lol I'll just leave it as that.
Afterwards, we dropped off all the equipment at the house, and went out with our friends to the Yardhouse. Great food, and a lot relaxing! (I didn't have to worry about selling cds, videotaping, or taking photos!)
Here are some photos from the night. You can see the rest at my photo album.
And here's a video!

I saw this baby lizard in our hallway. As I was trying to catch it, it ran into our bathroom! Luckily, our bathroom was small. heh I managed to catch it into a zip lock baggie.

Family Matters
Jul. 8th, 2007 | 01:31 am
I spent the day with hubby's family today. We left at 10:30am today and arrived in Gardena at around noon. Yea.. long drive. We were celebrating his Grandfather's 88th birthday today. Albert and I took a ton of photos! So that's the good news. Bad news is that Grandma is in the hospital. Her body is shaking and twitching uncontrollably. :( We don't know what's wrong. But seeing her in that much pain brought tears to my eyes.
It's been a long emotional day for all of us.
Here's a photo of... ok, get ready, you try to figure this family tree out -- my husband's grandfather's sister's grand daughter. She's 13 months now, and has the cutest personality.

Due to popular demand... we used the photo that you liked the best! See, you do have a voice. lol
This is what my hubby came up with the other night. He gave me a rough draft of the CD cover, and I cleaned it up. Now it looks more realistic. hehe I'll have to clean it up some more.. but it's almost done. We'll be working on the rest of the cd cover later this week. heh

Santa Monica Photo Shoot
Jun. 24th, 2007 | 11:09 pm

I spent the day at the Santa Monica Pier. I was doing Affinity Zero's photo shoot today, and the beach setting was perfect. The weather was nice, and the boys were being very silly!
Here are some of the photos that I like. Do you think they're good enough to use on their CD cover? And if you don't know already... they're three dorky guys who can play instruments. heh

Honey's Guitar Solo
Apr. 30th, 2007 | 10:08 am
mood:
awake
Saturday was a busy day. I had an art class in the morning. Then in the afternoon, I did some cleaning and set up all the food and goodies. We were having a few guests over before Albert's big show (concert). People started coming over around 7pm, and by 8:45pm, we all went to the venue.
Affinity Zero was the second band to play. The guys (bassist and guitarist) both bought a wireless adapter for their instruments, so they were able to move around more this time. And above is my honey walking down to the audience and jamming very close to us. teehee. It was a fun show. I'm proud of them. :D Next shows may be in June. They're finalizing their CD this month. :)

Affinity Zero in Hollywood Concert
Sep. 9th, 2006 | 08:25 am
mood:
happy
music: Affinity Zero - All The Money
Last Wed. night at the club was great!! I was so happy to see so many people show up for Albert's band debut in Hollywood. I love our friends! They're so supportive! For those of you who missed the show, you can watch Affinity Zero at the Gig on 09-06-2006 here!
The band met up at our house to pack the instruments at 5pm. We took off around 7pm to Hollywood. Stopped by In-n-Out for a quick dinner (ahh, life being in a band. lol) and then got to The Gig by 8:45pm. My brother came along with us, and he looked so happy being a roadie. lol
By 10:30pm, Affinity Zero was on stage and performing! The first song went a little too fast. lol I think the drummer was nervous? Al was singing fast, trying to catch up. haha Anyhow, the show was very good. I'm very proud of my boys. :D The club enjoyed the band so much that they invited us back! So we might have another show next month... and we can put everyone's name on the list this time! lol I'm really happy, but exhausted still. I took Thursday off, but I'm still recovering... heh
